Cotton Lycra (CL) 95% cotton 5% elastane, 260GSM and 4 way stretch. CL is truly a fabric for all occasions and is commonly used for children’s clothing but it is also perfect for a range of adult sews such as leggings and pencil skirts.
Bamboo Lycra (BL) 95% bamboo 5% elastane, 230GSM and 4-way stretch. CL’s slinky relative it has a fantastic drape and is lovely and soft. This base is popular for flowy clothing which such as summer tank tops, dresses, or flowy skirts.
Bamboo French Terry (BFT) 95% Bamboo 5% Lycra, 360GSM, this is a softer buttery version of our French terry, it is heavier than the BL, but has the same drape and is perfect for something a little bit thicker in the colder weather.
French Terry (FT) 95% cotton 5% elastane, 280GSM and a 4-way stretch. FT has a smooth cotton top and is heavier than our CL which is perfect for jumpers, joggers and that extra warmth for Winter!
Stretch Woven (SW) 88% polyester, 12% elastane 150GSM, this as some 2 way stretch, it is perfect for running shorts and other athletic wear as well as structured dresses and lightweight blazers.
Minky (M) 95% polyester 5% elastane, 230GSM and has minimal stretch. This has a short pile and is beautifully soft and snuggly.
Cotton Woven (CW) 100% cotton, 135GSM with no stretch. Lightweight cotton with a smooth finish and very slight sheen. Great for summery shirts and dresses.
Cotton Canvas (CC) 100% cotton, 240GSM with no stretch. This is a heavyweight cotton woven fabric ideal for bags, oven gloves or tea towels but light enough for some sturdy clothing like dungarees.
Athletic (AB) 77% polyester 23% elastane, 260GSM with a 4-way stretch. This is super soft, squat proof and incredibly comfortable, it is ideal for a range of activities, from yoga to the gym, to cycling!
Swim (S) – 85% Polyester 15% Spandex, 260GSM, perfect for all your swimwear needs!
Vinyl (VL) – 100% 640GSM, this heavy duty sturdy fabric has no stretch, it is perfect for handbags and furniture coverings.
Softshell (SS) – 95% polyester 5% Spandex, 325GSM. Perfect for coats and covers for those summer showers or winter downpours.
PUL (P) – 100% polyester, 170GSM no stretch. It is perfect for nappies, CSP’s lunchboxes and so much more.
